What's New in CarbonTracker CT2013B?
- CT2013B is a revision to our previous release, CT2013. It has the same time span, 2000-2012
- A significant improvement to our atmospheric transport model has been incorporated in this release of CarbonTracker. With this release, we have once again only one estimate of atmospheric transport with which to compute the CarbonTracker estimates.
- This revision of CarbonTracker reduces our estimates of CO2 uptake in temperate N. America (mainly U.S.) and Europe by about 0.6 PgC yr-1. This uptake is distributed about 50% to the worlds oceans and 50% to tropical and southern land. See details on differences between CT2013B and previous releases.
- CarbonTracker now uses ESRL's new ObsPack data delivery system. CT2013B measurement data can be downloaded from the ObsPack web site.
- Downloads for CarbonTracker are now available at the new URL /aftp/products/carbontracker/co2.
- Revised Executive Summary.
