The Northern Tinker Frog (Taudactylus rheophilus)

It is a species that exists in the north Queensland, Australia rainforest and is currently in great decline. Above 300-400 meters, this species apprears to have vanished entirely. Below 300 meters. There were two spottings of this "missing frog" in late 1996 at two mountaintop locations. Its numbers, however, are critically low and it is possible that we could still lose this species.
