Atlas Output Options
- Produce GIF or PNG
- Select this radio button to produce output plot in GIF format.
The default is to produce PNG..
- Use Land Mask
- Select this radio button to include a land mask in the output
image.
The default is no land mask.
- Remove Zonal Mean
- Select this radio button to remove the zonal mean before
producing the output image.
The default is to include the
zonal mean.
- Plot on a black background.
- The default is to plot on a black
background.
- Plot on a white background.
- The default is to plot on a black
background.
- Color Plot
- You can plot in color or black and white.
The default is to
produce a color plot.
- Reverse Color Table
- The default depends on the variable. Choose
reverse if you don't like the default.
- Fill/Shade
- Solid fill (color or black and white) or simple line plots are
available.
The default is to produce a line
plot.
- Polar Stereographic
- Cylindrical equidistant (rectangular) or polar stereographic
(circular) projections are available.
The default is to plot
cylindrical equidistant.
- Smooth data
- To improve appearances, the data used ina plot plot can be
slightly smoothed.
The default is to not smooth
data.
- Remove Contour Labels
- Contour levels can be used or excluded.
The default is
to plot contour labels.
- Override Default Contour Interval/Range:
- You can enter your own contour interval and/or data range. You
must have less than 33 divisions. If your range is outside the
range of data or the range or the interval is not valid, the
default will be used. If the data range is less than your range,
the colorbar may not show all possible divisions but the color for
a particular division will be the same from plot to plot.
The
default is to not override contour.s
- Scale plot:
- All (nonmissing) values will be multiplied by the number you
enter.
The default is to not scale plot.
- Generate Postscript output
- Postscript plots will print better than printing the default
GIF that is produced.
The default is to not produce a
postscript plot.
