The cosine error function for Vol 16 data has changed during Polar Night, possibly when the collector was removed and cleaned. It is possible, but has not been confirmed that the PTFE aperture is not installed correctly.

As a consequence, different cosine correction functions were apllied for the periods before and after polar night.
