LaPorte Ground Site Timeline

  1. Fencing work completed by 28 July 2000
  2. Power installation finished and power available by 28 July 2000
  3. Scaffold platforms installed and available by 1 August 2000
    • Lighting and flag markers are required by the FAA.
  4. Portable toilets delivered before 4 August 2000
    • These should be placed at the locations on the Site A and B layouts.
  5. Telephone and Internet service available (Site B only!) by 4 August 2000
  6. Rented trailers delivered, setup, and powered by 5 August 2000
    • Site A: 7 trailers needed, Model 825 (which are 8' x 20') set-up according to the site layout. The trailer numbers are: 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11. The trailers should be tied down and have steps installed.
    • Site B: 7 trailers needed, Model 825 (8' x 20' ) set-up according to the site layout. The trailer numbers are: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21. The trailers should be tied down and steps installed.
  7. On-site storage containers delivered by 5 August 2000
    • 8' x 8' x 20' metal sea-containers used for dead-storage on site (and for Paul Tanaka's smog chambers) should be placed, on the ground, according to the Site A and B layouts.
  8. Tables and chairs delivered on 7 August 2000
    • 32 tables (30" x 60") and 36 folding chairs (padded) needed. There will be an allowance with this vendor to add or substract tables and chairs as needed.
  9. Instrumentation installations may begin no earlier than 6 August 2000. Refer to Shipping/Storage.
