Cora joined Dr. Steve Brown's group in 2010 as an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow. Her research concentrates on understanding the chemistry of reactive trace gases using spectroscopic techniques.

Her efforts so far have focused on the development of an incoherent broadband cavity-enhanced absorption spectrometer (IBBCEAS) for field measurements of nitrous acid, glyoxal and NO2. This instrument was deployed at the Los Angeles ground site of the CalNex campaign in summer of 2010.
