Current Topics

Atmospheric chemistry of biomass burning compounds. The studies include measurement of the rate coefficients of the reactions with OH radical, Cl atom and measurement of the photolysis quantum yields, UV absorption cross sections to estimate the atmospheric lifetime of the concerned biomass burning compounds.

Measurement of Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and Global Warming Potential (GWP) of perfluorinated compounds to assess their suitability as replacements of CFCs and Halon compounds.
