Consecutive Dry Days

The maximum number of consecutive dry days in a year.

Extreme Temp Range

The difference between the highest temperature of the year and the lowest.

Frost Days

The annual total number of days with the minimum temperature below 0 degrees C

Growing Season Length

The number of days between the first 5 consecutive days of the year with the mean temperature above 5 degrees C, and the last 5 such days of the year.

Heat Wave Duration Index

The maximum period for the year of at least 5 consecutive days with the maximum temperature at least 5 degrees C warmer than the daily climatology from the 20c3m 1961-1990 period.

10mm Precip Days

The number of days in a year with precipitation greater than 10mm.

Max 5 Day Precip

The maximum precipitation total for any 5 day period in a year.

Precip Fraction Exceeding 95th Percentile

Fraction of the annual total precipitation due to events that exceed the 95th percentile of the daily climatological distribution from the 20c3m 1961-1990 period.

Precip Intensity Index

The annual total of precipitation divided by the total number of wet days in a year.

Warm Nights

The percentage of times in the year with the minimum temperature is warmer that the 90th percentile of the daily climatological distribution from the 20c3m 1961-1990 period.
