Brief Cloud Synopsis

JULY 8, 1998:
Deep cloud system with some precipitation from 00:00-03:00. Radar echo from the surface to 6 km AGL. Cloud becomes broken from 05:30-10:00. Upper cloud forms at 10:00 and merges with lower cloud at 13:30. Base of lower cloud gradually rises between 12:00- 24:00 with cloud base increasing from 2 to 5 km AGL. No lidar depolarization data on clouds. Limited microwave radiometer data (00:00-09:00) indicates some liquid present.
