Brief Cloud Synopsis
Low-level precipitating mixed-phase cloud from 00:00-12:00 (tops 0.8- 1.0 km AGL). Upper level cloud forms at 04:00, deepens and merges with lower cloud around 12:00. Lidar indicates a thin liquid layer centered at 700 m AGL that persists through the entire day with ice/mixed-phase precipitation below. Radiometer liquid is variable with peaks of around 0.15 mm. The liquid layer attenuates the lidar so no phase information is available above the 700 m level. Merged cloud system in radar data continues to 24:00 with tops gradually lowering to 3 km AGL.
