Biography

Luca Cinquini is a senior software engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he is involved in architecting and developing software components for management and analysis of Earth System Data. His major activity is working at the Earth System Grid, the global infrastructure used to distribute model and observational data for research on climate change. Luca collaborates closely with NOAA NESII to promote shared development and common infrastructure between the two agencies. Before being involved in the Earth Sciences, Luca used to work in High Energy Physics, where he got his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado.
