Allyn joined NESII in 2011 to work on incorporating descriptive metadata into various climate modeling products and processes. He is the technical lead for the NCPP Project which aims to create a collaborative environment for documenting and analyzing climate data. Prior to joining NESII, Allyn was the lead architect of the Common Information Model (CIM) Metadata Language currently used to describe climate data and models for the 5th Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP5) community. He enjoys being a dad.
