Task Order 9 (TO9)
TO9 is the second in a series of Task Orders delivering migrated end-user functions. Software delivered with this Task Order builds upon the TO8 delivery, and therefore includes the AWIPS Development Environment (ADE) 1.0, selected end-user functionality, and extensions to the ADE/infrastructure. Primary functionality delivered with this Task Order inculdes the Graphical Forecast Editor (GFE) perspective and associated Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) capabilities, Graphical Hazards Generations (GHG) functionality, and Aviation Forecast Preparation System (AvnFPS) for Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts (TAFs), additional SOA plugins (i.e., Binary Universal Form for data Representation (BUFR) Decoder) and the initial delivery of derived parameters from grid data.
