GMD-Radiation group (G-Rad) Calibration Facilities

Additional Information

  • Broadband Solar - Calibration support for the GMD baseline observatories and the BSRN sites at Kwajalein, Bermuda, and BAO is carried out by the GMD Solar Radiation Calibration Facility (SRCF).
  • Central UV Calibration Facility - The Central UV Calibration Facility became operational in 1997 as a joint project between NOAA and NIST. Its mission is to provide highly accurate and long-term repeatable calibrations and characterizations of UV monitoring instruments.
