GLOBALVIEW-CH4 : Download

  • FTP
    Connect to ftp.cmdl.noaa.gov, Path: ccg/ch4/GLOBALVIEW. You have 3 options.
    1. To retrieve GLOBALVIEW-CH4 file-by-file, execute the following FTP command sequence:
      ftp> binary
      ftp> cd ccg/ch4/GLOBALVIEW/gv_ch4
      ftp> mget *
      ftp> bye
    2. To retrieve a single zipped tar file, execute the following FTP command sequence:
      ftp> binary
      ftp> cd ccg/ch4/GLOBALVIEW
      ftp> get gv_ch4.tar.gz
      ftp> bye

      Then on your system:

      $ gunzip gv_ch4.tar.gz
      $ tar xvf gv_ch4.tar
    3. To retrieve a single zipped file: Transfer the file to the local system as described above
      $ unzip gv_ch4.zip.
