  • Flux Maps

    Flux map pages illustrate the spatial distribution of CO2 surface exchange estimated by CarbonTracker. Integrated total emissions are summarized in tables on each page. Weekly, monthly, annual, and long-term mean maps are available for North America, for the world's oceans, and for the entire globe.

  • Flux Time Series

    Bar charts on the flux time series pages illustrate the temporal evolution of CO2 surface exchange. Fluxes depicted here are integrated to larger regions representing continents or ocean basins as defined by the TransCom intercomparison project. Year-to-year variations of surface flux for the region are listed in a table on each page.
  • Flux data files
    Access to our ftp server for downloading flux files in netCDF format.
