"Observational Contributions for Climate Services"NOAA's Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL), Global Monitoring Division is pleased to announce the first call for registration and abstracts for the ESRL Global Monitoring Annual Conference, Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19, 2010, David Skaggs Research Center, 325 Broadway, Boulder, Colorado. In our continuing effort to stay abreast of recent observations concerning trace gases, aerosols, radiation, ozone, and climate forcing and to provide a forum in which these observations can be relayed and discussed, we will be presenting the ESRL monitoring and research results of the past year. The meeting is not limited to ESRL reports and includes observations related to these themes by both independent and cooperative investigators, and other national and international programs. We welcome your active participation at this annual conference. Ice BreakerPlease also join GMD Staff for the ESRL Global Monitoring Annual Conference "Ice Breaker" at the Millennium Harvest House hotel, 1345 28th Street, Boulder. The reception will be Monday, May 17 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Drinks and appetizers will be provided. There will be lemonade available for kids at no expense. The reception will be held outside behind the hotel in Anthony Gardens weather permitting...otherwise in one of the conference rooms. Families are welcome. Hope to see everyone there.
