The final NOy data now posted (Revision number 3) have time stamps identical to the preliminary data; that is, peak values line up (in time) with preliminary NOy data.
New merged files (All flights, 1 Sec, 60 Sec, 5 min, and WAS time) have also been created and posted.

May 26, 2005
RHB - NOy, O3clAL and O3uvAL. The latest files that were available for download did not get transferred to the revamped ETL server in late March. Thus, previous to today, if one clicked on the link to download, an earlier version of the file was downloaded, not the most current. This has been fixed. Users should check to see that they are working with the latest verions of these files, all with the revision date of 3/21/2005. Sorry for the inconvenience.

May 20, 2005

P3 - NOxy. The time stamp for the preliminary NOxy data for the flight of 040731 is off by +18 seconds. This will be fixed in the final version of the data. Until final data is submitted, users should be aware of the timing error for this data.

May 13, 2005
P3 - PANs. The time stamp for the PAN data for the flight of 040731 was off by +18 seconds. This data file has been fixed, and new files for this flight and for the 1 sec, 60 sec, WAS time, and all flights merged files have been created and posted. Data values haven't changed, only the time stamp assoicated with them.

P3 - data summary. A one page summary of non-missing data values for individual parameters for each flight.

May 12, 2005
P3 - NAerosol. (from Donna) New NAerosol data is available for the 040727 flight. New all flights merged files, and 1 sec merged files have also been created.
(from Chuck) ICARTTers: Ann pointed out a problem with the aerosol size distribution data for 20040727. I managed to write over the files with data from the wrong flight prior to submission. So the header says 20040727 but the data are actually from another flight. My sincere apologies for this screwup, and I hope it hasn't caused anyone else any headaches. The correct NAerosol_P3_ file for 20040727 should now be available on the download site. Ann, Tim, and Rodney, I'll make new specialty files for 20040727 that are consistent with your instruments' size ranges ASAP. Please contact me with any questions -Chuck

May 11, 2005
RHB - JNO3. New JNO3 data from Brian.

May 11, 2005
P3 - PILS IC. (from Donna) New PILSIC been posted for all flights except the first flight 040705, where there was no data. New all flights merged files have also been created.
(from Rick Pelteir) We've found an error with the timing of our data. The PILS-IC species data itself is unchanged, but we had to alter the start/stop times associated with each point. The PILS-WSOC data will remain the same (e.g. unchanged).

May 11, 2005
P3 - WAS. A formatting error was found in the igor and icart files for the flight of 040722. This error resulted in an extra line of missing values at the end of the file. A corrected version is now avaible for download, as well as newly compiled All Flights (separate files for each flight) merged files. The WAS - time merged files were unaffected.

May 11, 2005
P3 - NH3. (from Donna) A new data file for the 040720 flight has been posted. New 1 sec, 60 sec, WAS time, and all flights merged files have been created.
(from John Nowak) From approximately 17:22 to 17:37 two decreases were recorded in the ion source flow. As discussed in the NH3 talks, a decrease in the ion source flow increases the residence time in the flow tube and in turn increases sensitivity. Ideally, the residence time is kept as short as possible to inhibit slower, competing ion-molecule reactions. So, the observed NH3 mixing ratios for this time period will decrease due to the increase in sensitivity. Unfortunately, no calibration was performed during this time period. Based on laboratory testing, the sensitivity scales linearly with residence time over the total flow used during ICARTT. Therefore, the observed mixing ratios have been reduced by 40% to 65% based on the calculated change in residence time from the previous and next calibration. This was caught and corrected for in the original data reduction, however, when converting the IGOR waves to ICARTT format I mistakenly chose the uncorrected wave to convert. I must also point out that this overlaps the biomass burning plume intersection. The NH3 biomass burning plume analysis presented at the data workshop was done with the corrected data. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. If you have any questions contact John Nowak.

May 4, 2005
P3 - NOxy. NO, NO2, and NOy data is not yet final. However, I've made an AllFlts (all flights, individual files/folder) and 1 sec (all flights in one file) merged data set. Please note that the O3 data in the icartt formatted files is NOT the final O3 data, which can be found in files with the data id of O3. Contact Ken Aikin for details of the merges, and Tom Ryerson for details about the data.

April 20, 2005
RHB - SO2 data has been resubmitted. I believe that the only change is that the lower limit of detection (LLOD) has been inserted in several places. Talk to Eric for details.

April 6, 2005
P3 - PAN data has been resubmitted. New versions are on a 1 sec time base (aligned with AOCTimewave). Merged 1 sec, 60 sec, and WAS files are also available. Thanks to Aaron Swanson and Frank Flocke for fine-tuning the data. Please contact them for details.

April 6, 2005
