The 2003 THORPEX Regional Campaign (TReC) study was an adjunct effort to measure ozone (O3) during a NOAA assisted project to improve weather forecast accuracy. For more information about this project, go to the TReC 2003 public web site.

Northwestern Atlantic Ocean
The NOAA Gulfstream G-IV completed 7 flights, primarily from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
Coordinating organizations include the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL) Chemical Sciences Division (CSD), formerly the Aeronomy Laboratory (AL), and the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center (AOC).
