2000 TexAQS General info
The Texas Air Quality 2000 study was designed to improve understanding of the factors that control the formation and transport of air pollutants along the Gulf Coast of southeastern Texas. For more information about this project, go to the

Houston, Texas and Southern U.S.
A ground-based sampling site was located at the La Porte Airport facility and 14 flights were made by the NCAR Electra based out of Ellington Air Force Base in Houston, Texas.
Coordinating organizations include the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC), The University of Texas at Austin (UT) and Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL).
