WP-3D WAS and One Minute Merge File Download
Data Download for Modellers
Data Info has detailed information on names and units for each parameter in files.
WAS Merge Files
These files contain all species merged and averaged onto the WAS (Whole Air Sampler) flask start/stop time in one ICARTT file per flight. All species are included except for the WAS data itself. The 'close' time of the sample period was not recorded in the original WAS files, so an estimate of 9 seconds from 'open' time was used.

Notes about calculation of the averages
When calculating the averages for both data sets, there is no requirement for the minimum number of valid points in that average, to be consistent with how NASA calculates their merge files. Also, after talking to different PI's, there was no optimum number of points to require since under different conditions (plumes, altitudes, etc.) there would be different numbers of points to get a representative average for different measurements.
Also note, the VOCsGCFID instrument switched between a 20 second and a 5 minute measurement mode throughout the flights.
