The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Committee on Environmental, Natural Resources, and Sustainability (CENRS) is charged with improving coordination among Federal agencies involved in environmental, natural resource and sustainability research and development, establishing a strong information-transfer link between science and policy, and developing a Federal environmental, natural resource, and sustainability research and development strategy that responds to national and international issues.
